This is the DAY OF THE LORD. The deeper and often hidden dimensions of Christ's word are being revealed to us. It is a day of revelation.

Now we need a fresh understanding so the Spirit can apply these deeper dimensions individually; and empower His people to abandon the fleshly carnal pursuit of death, and determine to lay hold of immortality, eternal life, and the glory of Christ within.

As you review the current events taking place in our world, nation, and neighborhoods, it is not hard to find why many believe the prophets of doom and gloom.

Usually predicting with solemn exuberance, the coming of a dark and troublous age where evil will prevail in our world in greater dimensions then we have known and then the end of the world.

For many, the fear of these things is more than troubling and stressful. Jesus, Himself, stated “men’s hearts would fail them for fear” if they focused on those things coming upon the earth.

Luke 21: 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things that are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

You can hear the fear in so many today. Listen to the radio or watch the evening and cable news networks, you will experience a full dosage of the negativity, and fear mongering that is out there. Whether it surrounds the war, economy, morality or the future it is always debated and divided with hard and even hurtful rhetoric over issues that can only leave you feeling less certain and more fearful of what the outcome of current events might be.

This is supported with a continuous diet of tragedy, murder, death and mayhem occurring sometimes as it is happening around the world, broadcast for twenty four hours a day and as long as it is news, to make sure you do not miss what’s happening. While this form of fear speech might be profitable for news and entertainment purposes, it is not healthy for the soul or body.
